Last updated: [date of publication]
Astitva keeps you company through a hard stretch, and gives you information for it. It is not a doctor.
- Nothing in Astitva is medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe. It does not know your history, your protocol or your clinic.
- Ask your own doctor before you start, stop or change a medicine or a treatment, and about anything you read here that worries you.
- Clinical review. Pieces that make a claim about bodies or medicines are read by our gynaecologist partner. Until she has read one, it says "Not yet checked by a doctor".
- Food and movement. The food plan and the poses are general. The app holds some poses back in certain phases of treatment, but it does not know your body the way your doctor does. If something hurts or feels wrong, stop.
- Tests from home (from [version]). A panel carries the name a doctor uses for it. Booking one says nothing about you. Every result is read by a clinician. Her reading is her professional view of that report, written without examining you. Share it with the doctor who treats you.
- Sessions (from [version]). Practitioners are independent professionals, responsible for their own advice. Counsellors are not clinicians.
- The circle. What other members write is their own experience. Nobody there knows your dose, your history or your clinic.
In an emergency
Astitva is not an emergency service. If you are in danger, or thinking about harming yourself, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416. It is free and open at any hour.
In a medical emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital.
